Logline:
What happens when miracles arrive in a town that stopped believing it deserved them?
Opening Scene:
A priest has a grizzly in his rifle scope. Finger on the trigger. Then a flash crosses his vision — a woman, out here in the Alaskan wilderness. No coat. No shelter. No explanation. He loses sight of both bear and woman, and drives back to his other job: pastor of Gratitude, Alaska.

Gratitude is a coal town running on fumes. Mining roads cut through forests. Homeless gather by the river. The land gives and gives until it can't.
Then the miracles start. A girl's cancer disappears. The losing football team can't stop winning. Around midnight bonfires, the homeless hear sermons from a woman who walked out of the trees.
Word spreads. Pilgrims flood in, filling hotels, camping by the river, waiting for their turn.
Then the miracles stop.
The girl relapses. She dies. The team loses. The woman is still in the forest, but the blessings have dried up. Now the town is divided — not over whether she's real, but over whether any of it was. A town hall is called. Sides are taken.
GOD'S COUNTRY asks who owns the wilderness — and what happens when the Owner sends someone to check on it.
